An awareness event highlighting the dangers of gun and knife crime took place at the UCKG HelpCentre in Kilburn on Sunday 2 April. The aim was to help young people from the local area gain a better understanding of how to avoid being involved in such activities.
When the UCKG HelpCentre’s Peckham branch decided to put on a Zumba/fitness session for members of its seniors’ group, Caleb, little did the organisers think that the event would attract everyone from grandkids to grannies and some in between.
Exercise for older people is now greatly recommended, so members of the Caleb seniors’ group at the UCKG HelpCentre in Nottingham were eager to join in a fitness afternoon at the centre on Saturday 11 March.
There is a large amount of archaeological evidence to claim that tattoos existed in Egypt between 4000 and 2000 BC, and were also used by natives of Polynesia, the Philippines, Indonesia and New Zealand (Maori), who would tattoo themselves in rituals connected to religion.
