All the talk of power boils down to this moment: The day of Power! But what is it and how can it benefit you?
Have you noticed how an increasing number of our daily aids are getting smart? Smart phones, smart cars, smart computers, smart cameras, and even smart fridges! But even the most revolutionary devices would do nothing without power.
Everything has a source — whether you plug it in, hook it up, or leave it out in the sun , but if there isn’t a electrical power-source available, these gadgets are nothing but useless pieces of brilliance in your possession.
Everyone knows that, without a main supply, the source of electrical energy cannot power up the device or appliance.
What does it actually mean to have power? Some people believe that power comes from political or financial influence, while others believe it to be in wisdom and knowledge. But no matter how rich, influential, or intelligent a person is, there is always an area of their lives which fails to succeed. The fact is that we only have true power when we have control over our own lives. The power to decide how our lives will play out is greater than anything than we can have. This power is called faith. When applied correctly, we have control over anything that we wish to achieve.
What many people fail to notice is that this power is already inside of them. It is their ability to believe; it is their faith – the gift from God to even out the playing field, no matter the circumstance or obstacle.
The Day of Power event is meant to help people to get control of their lives through the power of faith. It will be a day of empowerment, where people will understand the true intent and greatness that God has for us.
On the day, we will explain how this power needs to be constantly connected to its Source – God – in order to truly work.
For those whose spark has burned out, it will be reignited. For those who are worn out, they will be reenergised, for those who have never experienced True Power, they will come face-to-face with Him.
Is it for me?
Some people live life in their own way and have become conformed with the way it has played out. They can’t even imagine that there are other ways of facing their problems or challenges and have accepted failure as part of life and believe it to be the norm. They have settled for what they can get, rather than what is promised to them.
Others have had their lives marked by failure and loss and don’t know what to do anymore. They feel powerless before their situation and nothing they do seems to put things right. They are at the point of giving up on life because they are so overwhelmed by the setbacks that they can’t see a solution anymore.
