Throne of Justice

In a world full of uncertainty – financial ups and downs, unexpected health issues, relationship problems, spiritual attacks and conflicts with your inner self – is it possible for you to claim the life you know you deserve?

If you have experienced a hard-hitting moment, you may have thought to yourself, “I don’t deserve this”, especially if you are serving God faithfully. So, on Sunday, 16 April, those of you who are facing injustices will be able to present them before the throne and He whose foundation is built on justice, will judge your case.

“Then I looked. And there was a great multitude which no one could count, from all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne” (Revelation 7:9).

As the verse above explains, God’s throne – the Throne of Justice – is available to everyone regardless of their colour, race, gender, nationality and social position. All those who believe can come to Him and receive the favour that comes from Him and His blessings. Unlike some people in today’s world who still judge others based on appearance or experiences, God sees everybody in the same light and only brings justice to those who believe.

So, what can you expect from the Throne of Justice? In the same way that a criminal is brought to justice by being removed from society, God’s justice will remove the problems and concerns in your life, putting an end to their effects. This is just one way that justice is brought, but Revelation 7:15-17 explains that there are many benefits that come by coming to the Throne of Justice.

Verse 16 says: “They shall neither hunger any more, nor shall they thirst any more…” This means that those who are hungry and thirsty for justice will be satisfied. God promises that He will fill you.

For those seeking complete peace and joy, verse 17 reads: “He will lead them to springs of living water.” This shows that anyone who stands before the Throne of Justice has the right to receive the Holy Spirit. That’s right, the greatest promise made to mankind is also offered through the Throne of Justice! Sometimes, the idea of not feeling complete is what we seek justice for.

What about those who suffer physically or emotionally? The Lord has not forgotten them. The latter part of verse 17 states: “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” For those who stand before the Throne of Justice, God Himself will take away the anguish and suffering – including illnesses, emotional scars from relationships and family division – that has brought misery for so many years.

If you believe in God’s perfect justice, this is your opportunity to present your case. Pick up your envelope at your local UCKG.
