If there is one person in the world who is appreciated, this person is your mother. Mothers are life-givers, carers, hand-holders, tear-wipers, listeners. They are multifaceted and do so much for us, going above and beyond to provide.
Even when their children grow past the age of dependence, their title never leaves them. They will always be mothers.
“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’” (Proverbs 31:28-29)
You, mother, are remarkable and we want you to understand just how cherished you are. That is why we invite you to receive a special blessing on Sunday, 14 March at your local UCKG branch.
Maybe you’re a mum who is reading this and you feel like you don’t deserve this because you are haunted by the wrong decisions you made in the past. Know that it’s never too late to make things right.
Perhaps you are in pain because your dream to hold a baby of your own has been crushed and your efforts have been to no avail. Know that with God, nothing is impossible.
And what about you who are not biological mothers but have taken on the role? Remember that your child can’t imagine not having you in their life.
You deserve appreciation too! So, this day is also for you.
A special prayer will be made for you this Sunday. Why not invite your children to witness this special moment?
