What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a Government scheme to assist charities to reclaim the tax that you have paid on your donation. It works like this: If you are a taxpayer and give £10 to your nominated charity you would normally pay tax on that amount. Your charity can get £2.50 of your taxes back with Gift Aid so your donation of £10 would become worth £12.50 and it wouldn’t cost you an extra penny!

How Gift Aid helps the UCKG HelpCentre

Did you know that you could help the UCKG HelpCentre financially if you pay Income Tax? For every £1 you donate the UCKG HelpCentre will receive an extra 25p tax refund- at no extra cost to you! This means that if you are a taxpayer, we can reclaim your gift aid on your donations, increasing your giving’s by almost a third on top of what you give.

Why contribute?

The UCKG HelpCentre is a UK charity dedicated to helping people live life to the full – physically, emotionally and spiritually. Over the years, we’ve reached such a large and diverse group of individuals that our growing family now includes some 12 million people from all walks of life, across 172 countries.

If you would like to donate, you can do so online. It is the policy of UCKG HelpCentre that all gifts are used as designated to our priority needs. However, in the unlikely event that a project becomes overfunded, your gift will be applied where needed most.
