Imagine a cook on the frontline of a battle with a ladle in one hand and a spoon in the other. Soldiers are crouching behind on either side of him with guns blazing, and he’s just standing there oblivious to what’s going on. Ridiculous, right? But this is exactly what many people are doing in a spiritual sense every single day, maybe even you.

In war, some soldiers are on the frontline and others provide support in the rear— cooks, nurses, doctors, planners—and are far away from the heart of the battle. Cooks in a war zone are rarely required to pick up a gun and fight, others do that job for them. But in the spiritual world, there is no rear, there is no place that is safe from attack!

Some people may say, “I’m not on the frontline”, or “I don’t want to be on the frontline”, but these days everyone is on the frontline of the battle against evil forces whether they like it or not. Temptations and attacks are at a fever pitch like no other time in history and we’re all at risk of being casualties.

Because of this, we will have a special purpose starting on Friday, 17 February called On the Frontline. Over the first two months of the New Year, we will teach you how to fight on the frontline. How do evil forces work? What weapons do we have? What are our weak spots? These and many more important topics will be taught and practised.

The armies of darkness are already setting traps for us, planning how to destroy our faith, finances, health, and families. This series of meetings will give you the best ever start to the New Year by teaching the devil the painful lesson that we refuse to be pushed around in 2017.
