Just as the human body has a basic need for fluids to stay alive – on average, a person can survive without water for about three days – our soul also feels thirst, but it cannot be quenched with anything in this life apart from the presence of God.
Most people make the mistake of trying to quench their soul’s thirst with money, material things or relationships.
These things fill you for a while, but you soon feel incomplete again. Thus, you end up in an endless vicious cycle.
The Holy Spirit is the only One capable of fulfilling all the needs of the human soul and making it complete.
With this in mind, tomorrow, Wednesday 6th of July we will be holding a service called ‘Quench the thirst of your soul’ for those who want to improve their spiritual life and develop their relationship with God.
The time has come to quench the thirst of your soul, do so by attending the service tomorrow at any of our Universal Church branches at 7.30pm (Also at 7am, 10am, and 3pm).
