Are curses real or just a myth?

Nowadays, a widely held belief is that curses do not exist, it’s something that happened many years ago during the time of our ancestors.

However, let’s think. Have you ever noticed how a problem in your family can go from generation to generation? Perhaps you once said:

“I will never be like my parents.”
“I will never be in an abusive relationship and let anyone lay their hands on me.”
“I will never be a single parent.”
“I will never get a divorce.”

But, years later you see yourself reliving your parent’s stories of sickness, addiction, abuse, betrayals, separation and rejection, you find yourself stuck in the same cycle you vowed you would never be in.

In the Bible, there was a man who was blind from birth. As Jesus passed by the disciples asked Him:

“…who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” (John 9:2)

Is this your situation? Are you experiencing very strange patterns of problems, to the point those around you are assuming you or your family have done something really bad and are now reaping the consequences?

Regardless of the name people might give to this phenomenon: bad luck, bad karma or jinx. In the spiritual context, curses are real and life can be a curse if you don’t do the right thing.

However, if you do not accept that life is a curse and decide to fight for a change, we have good news for you. This curse can and will be broken through your faith. The Bible clearly states that Jesus took the curse that has been plaguing your life upon Himself to redeem you, to remove it from your life (Galatians 3:13).

For this reason, we come together every Friday to go against this ‘enemy’.  We make prayers, which combat every situation that keeps recurring in your life. Therefore, do not accept your life to continue the same. Do not allow this curse to triumph over your family.

Bring along something that has your date of birth on, whether it be your passport, driving licence or birth certificate. We will determine every wall that you are facing in your life will collapse. You will learn how to break free from the curse that has been taking away your peace.
