50 days after Jesus’s crucifixion, something incredible happened. The promise that He would not leave His disciples alone was fulfilled, as 120 who had gathered in the upper room were filled with the power that is the Holy Spirit!
Sunday 31st May will be 50 days after Good Friday this year, and it will be a very special Sunday – The Day of Pentecost! The wind will blow in order for people to experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and those who believe will be united in one accord, like the disciples were in the upper room.
Every UCKG will be taking part in this worldwide purpose, so that those who do not yet have the Spirit of God can receive Him, and those who already have the oil can be renewed by Him.
On the day, there will be a live prayer straight from the holy city, Jerusalem.
On Sunday morning, we will offer a fast of words to God, keeping conversation to an absolute minimum until we open our mouths to seek Him. We will also fast from the moment we wake up until the end of the 10am meeting, sacrificing the physical bread to receive God’s everlasting bread.
Prepare yourself throughout the week so that you are ready to meet your God.
