On Sunday September 22nd, for one day only, TV personalities Renato and Cris Cardoso will be bringing their highly successful The Love School to Wembley Arena, as part of a world-wide tour.

It comes to the UK at a time when marriage is in decline, traditional family values are rejected and news of celebrity break-ups are all too common. Yet this is just the time when a happy relationship is invaluable in supporting people through the hardships of daily life.

“The Love School is a ‘must’ for every single and divorced man and woman who has had their heart broken, or who believes that relationships are usually difficult,” says Cris Cardoso, who has been happily married to Renato for 22 years.

“Equally, the Wembley Arena event will help couples,” adds Renato. “There is always much to learn even when marriages or relationships are strong, happy and long lasting, and plenty more when partners are on shaky ground and only hanging on to their commitment to each other by a thread.”

It is important to remember that love is like a dance, the couple claim. “Both must learn and practice in sync.” They also believe that their frank and fun approach to the hard challenges and minor hiccups, laughter and tears that make up marriages and committed relationships will be worthwhile for those who have been widowed.

The event is based around Renato and Cris’s daily The Love School Show on Rede Record, a leading TV channel in Brazil, which has a massive following throughout South America.

However there will also be a strong UK input featuring hosts and presenters from the Chrissy B and DKW shows on My Channel on Sky Digital and exuberant performances from members of the nation-wide youth group, VYG.

The day’s format is:

12pm                       Doors Open

2pm                         Music, drama and dance with VYG and contributions from the Chrissy B and DKW (Different Kind of Woman) shows and prize draws

4pm – 7pm             Renato and Cris Cardoso present The Love School, with audience interaction and participation.

Tickets are priced at £40, £35, £30 and £25, and they may be purchased from Wednesday July 24th via wembleyarena.co.uk and their line for disabled bookings 020 8782 5629, through the event infoline 0870 068 2000, the dedicated website at theloveschoolevent.com and at all UCKG HelpCentres around the UK. A copy of the Cardosos’ best-selling book Bulletproof Marriage is included with every ticket.
