The Lord’s Supper

the Lord's supper,

The Lord's Supper

The Lord’s Supper is an announcement of what the Lord Jesus came to do on this Earth and a moment of reflection on how we have been dealing with the question that the Bible asks us: Reject the sacrifice of the Son of God or fear Him?

Isaiah the prophet spoke about this about 700 years before the crucifixion:

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53.5-6)

On that day, the Lord Jesus took our sin upon Himself. And today He stretches out His hands to us to offer us the cup of salvation.

That’s why today during faith school, the Lord’s Supper will take place. At your local UCKG at 7am, 10am, 3pm and 7:30pm.

The Lord’s supper is the maintenance of our faith. How many people don’t even remember the last time they participated in the Lord’s Supper? There are people who are spiritually weak, they feel distant from God and when they don’t take part in the Lord’s Supper, with time they don’t pray anymore, and don’t read their Bible anymore. That’s why it is important not to fall into this vicious cycle of spiritual coldness. Participate in this special service and enjoy the opportunity to bond with God.

Meeting: Faith School
Day: Tonight at 7.30pm (also at 7am, 10am and 3pm)
LocationYour local UCKG branch
