We are creatures of endurance. We can put up with a lot. With life being as uncertain as it is, things happen that we often would not expect, and it is astounding how people can push through.
We know that we will never live problem-free lives, but there are some difficulties that come along and are just plain stubborn. These troubles seem as though they will never end. You may be going through something like that now and you feel as though no matter how hard you try, nothing is working. It seems as though this difficult problem is laughing at and mocking you.
It’s time to say, ‘It is finished!”
“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.” (John 19:30)
This is exactly what Jesus did when He made a mockery out of evil by sacrificing His life on the Cross for us on Good Friday. He brought an end to all problems, transgressions, tribulations and injustices. And He wants what He did over 2000 years ago to be valid for you today!
On this day, it will be the last time we bring a rose to the Spiritual Cleansing, as we conclude the ‘7 Fridays of the Blessed Rose’ at your local UCKG branch.
“Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward.” (1 Samuel 16:13)
If you attended last week, bring your old rose back which will be laid at the foot of the cross. The new rose that you bring with you will be anointed with a drop of olive oil – the symbol of the Holy Spirit. You will be directed on how to use it to bless your life and your family.
Please come wearing your face covering and follow all social distancing guidelines. For more information, call our 24-hour Helpline on 020 7686 6000.
