The demands of day-to-day life can leave anyone feeling overwhelmed, succumbing to their problems. It’s the bailiff’s knocking at the door, the cost of living soaring or the never-ending family arguments.
The truth is that we are all faced with a giant, have you identified yours?
The story of David and Goliath in the Bible teaches us to confront our problems. We admire the strength and the courage of young David, however the odds of him winning against a giant seemed rather unlikely.
What are the odds of you overcoming your challenges/problems?
Let’s take a leaf out of David’s book and learn from him, in our new purpose for five Sunday’s we will do just as David did and confront the Goliath we are currently facing by faith until they collapse.
This Sunday at 10am (also at 7.30am) in all our Universal Churches, we will throw by faith the first stone against our problems to declare victory.
