3 Feelings that Prevent People from Thriving

Last week, in the Congress of Success, we spoke about 3 feelings that prevent people from thriving:

The feeling of attachment to things and people: is the first feeling that gets in the way and prevents a person from thriving.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil…” (1 Timothy 6:10).

The feeling of inferiority: many people feel inadequate comparing themselves to others.

The feeling of giving up: one who fights for a dream or project, but gives up when faced with any kind of difficulty.

Why is it important to fight against these feelings?
Because all of them affect people’s lives, including their finances. People become limited: they are always short of money (i.e. they do not make sales, do not close contracts) and they lose their economic freedom.

What the Bible tells us
God did not create us to be limited. Therefore, our limitations come from external factors, such as the feelings listed above.

“You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.” (2 Corinthians 6:12).

What should we do

God does not work with feelings, He works with certainty. He will guide you and give you a direction but you must do your part, otherwise, you will never move forward. Don’t be guided by your feelings. Be disciplined and do what is right, even if you don’t feel like it.

Join us for the Congress of Success meetings to find out more about how to achieve financial success. The meetings take place every Monday at 7.30pm (also at 7am, 10am and 3pm), at the Rainbow Theatre or your local Universal Church.
