The cost of living crisis is exposing the severity of food poverty in the UK. So many families are being pushed below the breadline as food prices increase, having to turn to food banks.
In this month of February, we are calling you to make a difference by small actions. On your next shopping run why not add some of these items to your basket:
Canned food
Pasta
Rice
Cereals
Juices/UHT Milk
It may seem small but it will make a big difference in the lives of those who need it. You can drop off your donated items at your nearest Universal Church, where we have our weekly Food Bank/Soup Kitchen every Saturday from 11am-1pm.
