What do your emotions have to do with your prosperity?

What-your-emotions-have-to-do-with-your-prosperity

In a world full of opportunities, what could be the greatest enemy to your financial progress? Is it the cost-of-living crisis making it harder to afford day-to-day expenses, or perhaps the decreased access to affordable credit in the recent years?

We learn in the word of God that the greatest enemy to your prosperity is not found in external factors but could be hidden within you, and that is your emotions.

Are there memories from the past that still hurt you, unresolved problems in your life that are causing you pain or even unforgiveness? These negative feelings could be what is truly impeding you from reaching true wealth, as everything starts from within.

We learn from the story of Joseph, Jacob’s son, the importance of overcoming the past. He suffered a lot unfairly and was betrayed, arrested and despised, however he never stopped trusting that God could turn his situation around.

He could have taken revenge on his brothers but instead he chose to keep his heart clean, that’s why God later on exalted him.

In the same way, if you would like to achieve prosperity with God, it all starts with letting go of what you have been holding on to on the inside.

Whether it’s the disappointment of a loss, failure or financial betrayal, learning to let go of the past and placing your trust in the One who can open the toughest doors for you, will have you well on your way to the success you are searching for.
