Last Monday more than 150 people of different walks of life gathered in the Universal Church in Kilburn for the Tour of Faith and Miracles with one purpose, to learn more about God’s endless power.
The Tour of Faith and Miracles has been said to be a blessing in the lives of many others who have attended this event in other cities throughout the United Kingdom. And it was no different in Kilburn. The attendees learnt that they will thrive in whatever they do if Jesus is at the centre of their life, as He Himself said:
“… for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
With 19 people attending a meeting in the Universal Church for the first time, it turned out to be an impactful event. Such a simple and yet important message that will help many people move forward in life.
“I left different, before the service I felt bad, I’d faced a lot of disappointments recently so a lot of things were weighing on my mind, and in general worries. But even just praying about it and leaving it in God’s hands as we did, the way I felt completely changed. Even with the message just understanding that to truly be successful and content I have to have Jesus at the center of everything. A lot of the messages recently have been connecting for me so God’s really painting an overall image of what He wants from me.”
“What stood out for me yesterday was when the bishop mentioned what Jesus said about how it’s my job to rest in Him, and that He will do the labor. It was really enlightening to hear that being emphasized because many times we have a lot of problems and battles we go through, and we can forget the words of Jesus, so that was a really nice reminder.”
