The Thief in the Night

Extreme temperatures have made headlines in different locations around the world this year. Scientists at the University of Maine in the United States alarmed the population about the hottest records in at least 100,000 years.

Given this worrying scenario, researchers from the University of Bristol still say the end of the world will happen.

The research that led to this conclusion was carried out using supercomputers, which defined the estimated time for the end of life on Earth, which will be a result of the intense heat.

The study points out that all life on Earth will be burned to complete extinction. The formation of a supercontinent with colossal volcanic eruptions will also be part of the apocalyptic scenario. This is due to the increase in carbon dioxide (CO²) levels and the drastic emission of solar radiation, which can lead the planet to face heat waves of up to 70°C.

The forecast predicts a hostile situation where the lack of food and water sources will also be present, worsening the ability to survive.

No matter how hard one may try, there’s no point in denying it. All the pieces that make up the end-time scenario described by the Lord Jesus are falling into place. It is visible not only in the disasters and imbalance of nature, but in many other aspects that have made peace a missing item on Earth:

“And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” (Matthew 24:6-7)

Do you notice the similarity with these prophetic words and what is happening in the world?

This Earth will end in fire, and humans need to find another place to live. But this place is not Mars, but the new Heaven and the new Earth – the eternal salvation reserved for those who believed in the Lord Jesus and lived their lives in obedience to His Words”, explains Bishop Renato Cardoso in his book The World Will Burn.
