The importance of putting God first

the Lord's Day,

putting God first
As early as childhood, we’re encouraged to be the best, to be “number one”. But if you live by faith based on the principles of the Word of God then it’s inevitable that you will put God first in your life. Those who are successful are those who live their life based on His Word and choose to put Him first. That’s why every Sunday, we hold a special meeting for those who wish to do so.

“…For those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.” (1 Samuel 2:30)

This doesn’t mean despise literally, but for example, someone who is dedicated, committed, and a responsible person, but say they are too busy to go to church or they make excuses like they prefer to work than go to church because it will bring them prosperity.

One of the things people of faith do to prove God is first in their lives is make time on the first day of the week, Sunday, which is known in the Bible as ‘the Lord’s Day’, for Him.

When we don’t value God, we won’t value the church services, in other words, we are saying that God is not a priority in our lives. If your schedule allows you to come to the Sunday morning meeting, we invite you to attend the Sunday service at 10am (also at 7.30am) at your local Universal Church.

Always begin your week, in the presence of God.
