IntelliMen: Where real leaders are forged

InteliMen

Last Sunday at 4pm, the ‘Gathering of Men’ was held in our headquarters in Finsbury Park, where, men of all ages were welcomed to receive a message of personal development and investment to become a better employee, son, husband, friend or father.

The main message highlighted that the approval of God is not automatic, but must be conquered. This can only be achieved by staying away from what is wrongful and striving to live a life of obedience to the word of God and integrity.

Furthermore, the attendees learnt that a strong man is disciplined and does not compromise fundamental principles and values, even if everyone around them may be doing so.

Often times, a man can appear to be leading a disciplined life, whilst still holding on to hidden things, such as grudges, addictions or affairs. This is where most men go wrong and end up destroying their wellbeing, relationships and even financial prosperity.

In order to become a strong man, with order in all the areas of your life, and most importantly build a relationship with God, you must first abolish these hidden behaviours.

The men were invited to make a prayer of self-reflection and to decide to turn away from choices that are harmful to them and their relationships.

During the meeting, Bishop James also explained the importance of completing the Intellimen project, which consists of various tasks and challenges and usually takes a year to complete.
