How to know God’s plan for you

How-to-know-God's-plan-for-you

The human being is constantly looking for a way to look into the future. In other words: “If I know what will happen tomorrow, I’ll get ready today”. It is a natural desire that goes through people’s minds.

Many ask themselves: “How can I know God’s plans for my life? What has God prepared for me? What should I pursue to fit into God’s plans?”

Yes, it’s an excellent question, but it won’t take you where you want because it will take you along the same path as those who seek seers and soothsayers.

If you want to be in God’s plans, there is an easier way: to obey the Word. If you are obeying the will of God, manifested in the Word, you are within His will, and He will lead you to His plans.

It is written:

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).

At that time, there was no light for the night as we know it today. The psalmist means that the Word of God clarifies what we have to do. You have to enter the Word of God. If you are in the Word, you are in His will. If it is in His will, it’s in His plans.

The Lord Jesus said:

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble” (Matthew 6:34).

The “Lord’s Prayer” suggests us to pray in the morning asking for the bread of that day.

Instead of feeding on ideas from men who want to get you on their side, put your head in the Word of God. And don’t be distracted by other words that conflict with the Bible.

Sometimes, we must learn to leave things as they are for now. It is not that we will accept, but we will not lose our sleep over what we don’t understand.

Don’t worry about tomorrow. If we knew God’s plans, we would be Him. What He wants us to know is in the Word. Don’t keep consulting gurus, prophecies, or revelations. Beware of those who want to be between you and God. Consult the Holy Spirit. Don’t outsource your faith. The rest is deception.
