“I had been happily married for 12 years. My husband started behaving strangely out of the blue. I found out he was cheating on me with my best friend. When I confronted him, he said he was leaving me and wanted a divorce. He didn’t even try to work things out, he just walked away and left me with four young children.
After this, alcohol became my best friend. I would drink about four bottles of wine a day. I’d wake up covered in my own vomit, without remembering what happened the night before.
Shortly after, I was invited to attend the Love School event and that’s how I started coming to the Universal Church. Being there made me realise that my life could change too.
By attending the Love Therapy seminars, I learnt how to value myself and to be humble enough to change for the better. Today, I am now in the position to give hope to others that have also been in a broken relationship. My children and I couldn’t be happier.”
