Christians Continue to Die for Their Faith

Christians Continue to Die for Their Faith.

A recent attack on a church reveals how violence and persecution against Christians continues to grow in Africa. Twelve people were killed instantly and three others were hospitalized, when men invaded a Christian service in Burkina Faso, Africa.

The attacked church is located in the village of Essakane, in the province of Oudalam, close to the border between Mali and Niger. This location is said to be where some of the worst cases of violence against Christians takes place.

However, despite the great threat posed against the Christians, there are those who continue to boldly practise their faith in the Lord Jesus.

They serve as an example to us who have the freedom to practice our faith without the fear of danger.

Jesus predicted these events and often taught His disciples saying:

“Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 10:21-22 NKJV)

To endure until the end, it is essential that you continually renew your faith with regular church attendance to receive messages of faith and prayers. After all the Bible teaches us that, “(…) faith comes by hearing,” (Romans 10:17 NKJV).

That’s why one of the greatest strategies of evil is to make Christians despise church meetings, spreading the idea that if God is everywhere that church attendance is not necessary.

Over time, this mentality has weakened the faith of many worldwide and has led numerous people further and further away from the presence of God.

As a consequence, when difficulties arose they were unequipped to face their challenges and overcome.
