Blessing all the fathers

FamilySundayofPeace

On Sunday 18 June at 10am we commenced The Week of Family Plenitude with the service of “The Plenitude of Peace” and the prayer of the priestly blessing.

Many families were received in all of our Universal Churches across the UK, with one goal in mind – to fight for their family!

The message was that in order to have peace in your household, you must first learn how to deal with the differences in personalities in your family.

Differences are a common cause for arguments amongst siblings, parents and children and even couples. However, differences in personalities can be positive and can certainly benefit you if you learn how to embrace them.

As it was also Father’s Day, a moment in the service was separated to bless all the fathers.

Fathers were given a crucial responsibility by God to lead and protect their family. They learnt that a father that relies on the word of God will provide security and peace to their home.

There was a prayer for strength and wisdom for all the fathers and the priestly blessing was ministered over everyone present, even those who were in the service alone.

Furthermore, in the Children’s Biblical Centre, taking place simultaneously, the children prepared small gifts to hand out to their dads.

This was a remarkable start to this 1-week purpose to bless the family. If you would like to join us on this journey to fullness and joy in the family, you can do so by attending one of our services every single day, in your local Universal Church.
