A successful business, buying the house of your dreams, getting married, etc are just some goals that most people aspire to have and some are in pursuit of.
The truth is whatever we put our minds to that is what we will achieve, no matter how far-fetched it may be.
Amongst the many goals we can set for ourselves the Bible speaks of a goal that one should have:
“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14)
The greatest goal one should have and strive to achieve is the goal of salvation, that’s the goal of eternal life.
As with any goal, there is a need for application, the same applies to those who want to achieve eternal life.
