The UCKG HelpCentre is a nationwide charity that provides support to the community. We provide aid and assistance to other charities and groups in the local community.

We held the Food Bank and Bric-a-Brac campaign around London and other cities during March and April this year. These projects are made with the aim of uniting the different groups in the community. Some of our associates that helped were Age UK and Trussell Trust. Both charities were very appreciative of the donations given.

The Food Bank campaign involved donating canned and packed foods to the less fortunate. Hundreds of people brought food from their own homes and others even bought their donations from supermarkets. In total, the Food Bank generated 1,997kg of food. Donations came from the four corners of London as well as from cities on the outskirts of London.

The Bric-a-Brac campaign mostly focused on household items that people were willing to pass on. Cutlery, children toys and house decorations were among the many items that were requested. The results surpassed expectations. In total, the Bric-a-Brac campaign generated over 1 tonne of items.

The success of these campaigns was astounding. Both charities have also expressed interest in working with us in future campaigns.
