Have you ever stopped to wonder: if your love life were a medical report, what would the diagnosis be?
We all experience certain “symptoms” in our relationships—patterns, habits, or behaviours that prevent love from truly flourishing. While it’s easy to hope things will somehow improve on their own, real change doesn’t happen by chance. Waiting without changing anything isn’t optimism — it’s self-deception. Lasting change always begins with a decision, and that decision starts with you.
That’s why today, 8th January, we kick-start “The Love Life Diagnosis Month” in the Love Therapy Seminars. This is your chance to take a close look at yourself, see what’s holding you back, and start moving towards healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
You might be wondering, “What does a diagnosis actually mean?” It means seeing the problem clearly. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Identify the issue, then find the solution. It’s logical, yes—but often easier said than done.
The truth is, no one is born knowing how to love, but the good news is that everyone can learn. There are tools for practising intelligent love, and at the Love Therapy, you’ll not only learn these tools but also be given the chance to apply them and, if necessary, start again with a fresh perspective.
Join us at the Cathedral of Miracles, with Bishop Allan Passos and his wife, Aline, every Thursday at 8pm. Together, we’ll help you uncover what in your love life is healthy, what needs healing, and how to restore balance. Remember: avoiding the diagnosis only delays the solution.
If you’re in need of more personal guidance, one-to-one advice is available every Thursday from 7pm, with the pastoral team and their wives ready to support anyone seeking direction in their relationships.
And for families, children aged 0–10 will enjoy age-appropriate activities at the Children’s Biblical Centre (CBC), giving you the chance to focus fully on the meeting.
This is your moment to begin your diagnosis journey, see the challenges clearly, and take the first step towards lasting change.
