How to do well in an interview

How to do well in an interview
An interview is an opportune moment to highlight your strengths, talk about your achievements and, thus, occupy the desired vacancy.

Here are some tips on how to make a great impression in an interview:

1. Practise strong answers: Prepare your answer to the common question: “Tell me about yourself, and why are you interested in this role with our company?”. The idea is to quickly communicate who you are and what value you will bring to the company and the role.
2. Prepare smart questions: Employers expect you to ask questions: they want to know that you’re thinking seriously about what it would be like to work there. You can ask such questions “If I were in this position, how would my performance be measured? How often?”
3. Think about first impressions: Dress for the job you want and plan your schedule so that you arrive 10-15 minutes early.
4. Remember good manners and body language: Smile frequently, and make eye contact when you’re speaking. Sit or stand tall with your shoulders back.

If you are having difficulties attaining a desired role and need motivation and guidance we invite you to attend our Monday service Congress of Success meeting. This meeting takes place every Monday at your local Universal Church at 7.30pm (7am, 10am and 3pm).
