What Do You Want For Your Family

Many would answer unity, peace, prosperity, protection, good health, and more. But where can we find these?

If you are longing for these blessings for your family, this event is for you!

My Family at the Foot of the Cross is an event for all families to seek protection from harm, wisdom in making decisions, and strength to overcome any challenges that may come.

Bringing your family to the Foot of the Cross means surrendering them to God—placing them in His hands and trusting that He will protect and guide them.

When we surrender our families to God, transformation begins in their lives.

Even when situations seem impossible, with God and faith, all things are possible.

There is no better place to be than at the Foot of the Cross—it is where homes are transformed!

The Fast of Daniel will take place from Wednesday 10th December to Wednesday 31st December.

He is the Third Person of the holy Trinity, the Comforter, the Spirit of God, a Guide and the Creator.

The Holy Spirit is the One who puts an end to chaos and the One who has the power to make us the dwelling place of the Almighty.

It is the confirmation and assurance of God’s nature within us. An exchange of the old creature for a new one and receiving a divine nature.

The main proof of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, is the personal testimony of a person’s character.

The answer to this question requires you to make a deep and sincere self-analysis, to look deep within and at your faith:

  • You are living in the past, blaming what happened in your past, using it as an excuse for everything that happens in your present.
  • You cannot forgive someone for something that they have said or done to you.
  • You don’t prioritise what’s most important, that is, God. You always have someone or something else in first place.
  • You do everything your way, no matter how many times you say that you will listen to what the men of God say, you always end up doing things according to your own will.
  • You live focused only on yourself. You only live and fight for what will satisfy you.
  • You are not a good example to others, be it at home, at work, or amongst friends and do not apply outside what you learn in the HelpCentre.

Can you identify yourself with any of these? If you say, ‘yes’ the Fast of Daniel may be just what you need.

Whoever wants to be baptised in the Holy Spirit, has to first be born of God – become His property and temple, before He can dwell in them.

It requires simplicity of faith:

But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptised” (Acts 8:12) NKJV

Many want to embellish the Word and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but the only requirement a person needs is to have faith and a hunger and desire to receive the Holy Spirit.

Every day, we hear voices. Whether they come from other people or from the Spirit of God, they all have one aim: to influence us to choose good or evil.

Many voices may have good intentions, but due to their origin, they end up leading us astray. Others are intent on evil from the start. There is only one Voice that is purely good: the Voice that comes from the mouth of God.

It speaks through the Written Word or through those in whom rivers of Living Water flow.

Rivers of Living Water are words of faith, encouragement, awakening, courage, revival — everything that lifts the fallen, resurrects the dead, and brings life where once there was death.

To truly absorb them, however, we must flee from the other voices and fix both our physical and spiritual gaze on the written Word.

If your work involves using the internet or social media, you may continue to do so. However, be sure to use them strictly for work-related tasks and avoid getting distracted by other things. Remember: the key is to stay focused, not allowing anything to divert your attention from the purpose of the Fast.

You can watch Christian programmes and uplifting content available on the Univer platform that will help you get closer to God. But be careful not to get caught up in entertainment. The aim of this purpose is for you to develop your personal relationship with God, by letting go of distractions, wrong attitudes and strengthening your communion with Him.

The Fast of Daniel is not a food-based fast. However, if you wish, you can maintain a healthier diet during this period. You may choose to give up certain pleasurable foods as Daniel did, if your health allows it.
