A Meal so good…you just can’t resist!

Meal so good you just cant resist
Hidden treasure was discovered during the service the Night of the Soul, attendees learnt the importance of embracing and meditating on the Bible as their daily guide.

If you’re looking for, direction, confidence, guidance, clarity and so much more, all of this is in the Word of God. It covers all areas of your life but a Christian needs to be well-equipped to not only understand the word but apply it.

It’s through a daily application of the Word of God that a person is able to draw strength, it can be likened to eating food! No one will go a day without a good meal, so why go a day without meditating on His word?

Don’t allow yourself to be malnourished (spiritually speaking) because of a lack of meditation on His word. The more you feed yourself with the Word of God the more you will be prepared for the hard, unexpected moments. You will draw strength from the very words that you know at the right moment.

Bishop James explained to the attendees the importance of giving value to the Bible and that in past times God used, visions, dreams, and even a goat to speak to His people, today He uses His word to speak to us:

“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets…” (Hebrews 1:1)

Bishop James, further went on to share tips on how to make Bible reading a daily habit:

1. Find a suitable time in your day, uninterrupted to meditate on the word of God. Morning, afternoon or evening whatever may work best for you.
2. Purpose in your heart that you will apply what God has spoken to you, even if it may challenge you to change make it a point to apply it in your character.
3. If you are newly reading the Bible start from the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Aim to read one chapter per day.

“So I went to the angel and said to him, “give me the little book.” And he said to me, “Take and eat it;…” (Revelation 10:9)

This sure is a meal that no one should resist!
