Your Soul, Your Treasure

Seeking

Contrary to popular belief, the Christian journey is far from easy. From the moment a person decides to convert and live according to the Word of God, they automatically enter a spiritual war, simply because the devil recognises the worth of each soul and will not give up easily.

Each soul holds immeasurable value. While our bodies age and deteriorate, the soul is eternal, destined for either ultimate reunion with God or separation from Him. Knowing this, the forces of evil tirelessly seek to numb our spiritual senses and distance us from God by undermining our faith. They use subtle distractions, negative thoughts, emotional wounds and daily pressures to weaken our spirit and lead us astray.

It is important to understand that salvation is not a one-time event but a lifelong commitment. Each day brings new challenges, temptations and trials that test our dedication to God. Without constant spiritual vigilance, we risk becoming complacent or indifferent.

This is why it is crucial to remain alert so as not to fall into the devil’s traps and to maintain spiritual strength. Just as our bodies require nourishment, we must continuously feed our faith and spirit with the Word of God. Prayer, Bible meditation and constant communion with God are indispensable spiritual tools to confront life’s challenges and struggles without allowing our faith to grow cold.

Be wise and prioritise your salvation, as it is your most valuable asset. No earthly possession compares to the worth of your soul. Our Wednesday services are specifically designed for this purpose: to help you focus on your faith by immersing yourself in the Word of God. This will nurture your spirit and preserve your soul. Join us at your nearest Universal Church as we are learning how to defend our faith.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)
