There are moments in life when we pray with all our strength—sometimes with tears, sometimes with desperation and yet it feels as though nothing happens. Many people quietly ask themselves, “Why isn’t God answering me?” The Bible makes it clear that God hears every single person. He doesn’t miss a word, a thought, or a cry for help. But still, His answers don’t always arrive according to our schedule, nor do they always come in the way we expect. Sometimes His response differs from what we hoped for, and at other times, it’s not yet the right moment. What seems like silence is often God working in ways we cannot see or understand—an experience we can all relate to.
It’s for this reason that we will be holding a special meeting called “The Sunday of Unanswered Requests.” Every person, without exception, has faced at least one prayer that appeared to go unanswered. During the meeting, we will speak openly about this and seek the understanding that only He can provide.
For some, these unanswered prayers have slowly become a stumbling block over time. Feeling wounded or disappointed, they drift away from faith, convinced that God has forgotten them or turned His back. These feelings are more common than many realise, and they often remain unspoken.
That is exactly why this Sunday, instead of stepping back, we are choosing to draw closer. We will come before God with sincerity, laying our concerns, our frustrations, and our deepest questions before Him. This will be a moment to reconnect with Him, find clarity, and rediscover the assurance that He is always listening.
We invite you to join us this Sunday at your nearest Universal Church. Come with an open heart, and together let’s learn to trust God even when the answers seem delayed. You don’t have to face those moments of silence on your own. Now is the time to rise and pray in faith and take hold of what God has prepared for you.
