At times, life can shake us so hard it feels as though we’re living through an earthquake. One moment you think things are steady, and the next, everything is thrown into chaos. You fix one problem, and another suddenly arrives, leaving you feeling as though you’re constantly clearing up after a disaster.
For many, shaking mostly takes place in their finances. Perhaps it’s the job you thought was secure, only to lose it overnight, a business deal collapsing just when you were relying on it. Maybe it’s the arrival of an unexpected bill that tips everything off balance, or the reduction in work hours that has cut into your income. Whatever the cause, it can leave you discouraged and wondering if there’s a way forward.
The good news is this: God isn’t restricted by circumstances. In Acts 16:26, Paul and Silas were imprisoned, praying and singing to God, when “Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”
That moment was more than a physical earthquake — it was a supernatural move of God. What looked like the end became the very moment of freedom. God broke the chains that held them back, shifted what had seemed immovable, and opened doors that no one else could open.
This Bank Holiday Monday at 10am, join us for the Prosperity of God meeting for the ‘Monday of the Earthquake.’ We will gather together to cry out to God for that same shaking in our lives, believing for closed doors to swing open and for the chains of financial struggle to break.
So, if your finances have felt like an earthquake, come ready to experience a different kind of shaking — a spiritual earthquake that brings freedom, hope, and a fresh start.
