When Hard Work Isn’t Enough

News 2

In recent years, rising living costs have meant that for many, having a second income is no longer a luxury but a necessity. Research indicates that more than a third of UK workers are living from one payday to the next, with no savings set aside for emergencies.

Around 30% of workers have also expressed their concerns about their level of debt. This growing financial insecurity is creating anxiety about the future in many households across the country, as even those in stable, well-paid jobs are finding it increasingly difficult to make ends meet.

For some, this experience feels like more than a matter of circumstance. It can bring a sense of being held back — a weight that is difficult to explain, as though unseen obstacles are standing in the way of stability and success.

We invite you to join us for this purpose of the “Prayer for Those Suffering from Spiritual Attacks,” where we will reflect on these struggles from a spiritual perspective. Many spend years striving to build a better life, only to have their achievements slip away. The message behind this initiative is for lasting prosperity to be rooted in a spiritual foundation — a life guided by faith, resilience, and renewed perspective.

This meeting forms part of the “7 Days of Spiritual Battle” campaign, designed as a period of reflection, prayer, and practical encouragement for those seeking change, stability, and a fresh start.

For anyone who feels stuck despite their best efforts, this meeting offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and confront the challenges that may be affecting both their material and spiritual lives.
