Have you experienced something you simply cannot accept? A humiliation, betrayal, abandonment or a painful loss? Perhaps you ask yourself: โHow can I move on from something so unfair?โ
Sometimes, it feels like the world is full of injustice and in many ways, it is. Unfairness, corruption, and cruelty seem to be more visible than ever. But in the midst of it all, thereโs one truth we must hold on to: God is Justice.
Though evil may be spreading and injustice may seem to reign, none of it escapes Godโs eyes. He is not indifferent. He is not silent. God is justโHe sees what you have gone through or may still be facing and He invites you to bring your case to Him.
โO Lord, You have seen how I am wronged; Judge my case.โ (Lamentations 3:59)
These were the words that Prophet Jeremiah cried out to the Lord. He knew what it meant to suffer, and maybe, itโs the very cry of your heart right now.
This Sunday marks the beginning of something specialโ all Universal Churches across the UK will begin โThe 4 Sundays of Justice,โ where we will bring our injustices before God and seeking His judgement, His intervention, and His restoration.
Itโs also the first Sunday of the month, where we will present our First Fruits (Tithe) and offerings, as an act of placing God first in our lives.
The First Fruits isnโt just about giving 10% of your income; itโs about honouring God above all elseโin your actions, your decisions, and your heart. When you choose to live justly, you position yourself to receive Godโs justice in your life. That is why a special anointing with the Oil of Justice will take place during the service. Itโs a moment of faith, declaring that God will act in the lives of those who trust in Him.
So, whether youโre facing a legal issue, an unfair situation at work, family conflict, or feel forgotten or overlooked, when God steps in, everything changes. Justice will replace wrongdoing. Peace will replace pain. The truth will silence the lies.
