Every one of us radiates a certain kind of energy. The energy we emit, whether positive or negative, reflects the state of our spirit and directly influences our lives. It can shape our success, friendships, relationships, finances – in fact, it can transform everything around us. Even our bodies respond: “A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22).
Maintaining a positive spirit – being lively, kind-hearted, and uplifting, while also showing wisdom and offering wise counsel is a rare gift. Those who possess it become a light to the world (Matthew 5:14). Just the simple brightness in their eyes or the joy in their voice can make a real difference in a world often clouded by negativity. A good spirit brings harmony far more effectively than any beauty treatment or makeup: “A cheerful heart makes for a healthy face, but a crushed spirit saps the strength.” (Proverbs 15:13). Its impact happens from the inside out.
However, having this energy isn’t as simple as thinking positively, attending a workshop, or following a life coach. It goes deeper. Just as a device needs a battery to function, our spirit needs a source of energy – the Holy Spirit. One of the fruits of the Spirit is joy itself (Galatians 5:22). Receiving Him is free, and it’s up to each of us to welcome Him in and let Him dwell within.
Every Wednesday and Sunday, we hold meetings dedicated to strengthening our relationship with God and seeking the Holy Spirit. It’s an opportunity to learn more about Him and align our lives with His guidance, experiencing blessings in every area of life.
