Volunteers go from house to house collecting prayer requests

challenges and hardships,

collecting prayer requests

Many people who face problems find help through prayer. Knowing that someone is willing to pray for your success in overcoming a difficult situation can be very comforting. This is what members of the Universal Church and assistants did to help hundreds of people. They visited the residents near the church and collected their prayer requests based on this verse:

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

Many people in the community are experiencing challenges and hardships. As a result of the pandemic, many people have become desperate and hopeless, so the volunteers decided to go out and offer them what they have received from God. “Knowing that people of faith care for them and pray for them encourages them to be more active in their faith,” says Pastor David Nzuruba.

The movement was carried out for the first time in January and will take place again this February.

“Many people expressed gratitude and happiness for this action and invited the volunteers to also pray for their family members who were sick at that moment. They were surprised by the way people cared about others,” added the Pastor.
