The Reward for the Overcomer

News 5 3
When the people of Israel journeyed through the desert, God showed His care in a very remarkable way. Each day He sent down manna from Heaven – a heavenly provision that sustained everyone and reminded them they were never alone. It was His daily reassurance that they would not lack a thing as long as they trusted and obeyed.

But the Word of God takes us even further. In the book of Revelation, the Lord Jesus promises hidden manna. Unlike what fell in the desert, this one does not refer to physical sustenance, but to the spiritual and eternal reward reserved for those who overcome. It’s a promise that points us to eternal life and our communion with God.

That is why this Wednesday, 27th August, we will hold The Wednesday of the Hidden Manna, as part of the special Study of the Overcomers series at your local Universal Church. This will be a unique opportunity to build up your spiritual life and seek the promise reserved for those who persevere in faith.

To obtain this promise, faith must be nurtured. Just as the body needs exercise to grow stronger, faith also needs regular practice. It is not enough to hear or simply know the Word – it must be lived daily. Every service, every study, and every opportunity to meditate on His Word is a chance to renew your strength, to receive divine guidance, and to draw closer to God.

We will also partake in the Lord’s Supper, an essential part of our journey that nourishes both heart and mind, equipping us to remain steadfast in faith. We encourage everyone to bring their Bible and come with an open heart, ready not only to hear the Word, but to put it into practice.

More than hearing about the hidden manna, this is your opportunity to experience it for yourself.
