The Night of the Tree of Life

News 9

Awards, achievements, applause… Every earthly reward will one day come to an end. However, there is one reward that transcends this world and will never expire.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” (Revelation 2:7)

The Tree of Life symbolises eternal life. Unfortunately, humanity never had the chance to taste its fruit, choosing instead to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden – in direct disobedience to God’s guidance. That tree could rightly be called the “tree of death”, for it led mankind into spiritual death.

The good news is that the Lord Jesus came to reverse this fate, granting access to eternal life for those who believe. As promised to the Church of Ephesus, those who overcome – meaning those who remain steadfast in faith and obedience to the Lord until the end – will have the right to eat from the Tree of Life in the New Jerusalem, thus conquering eternal life.

This Wednesday, we’ll delve deeper into the meaning of the Tree of Life, what it represents today, and how we can partake of its glorious fruit. It will be “The Night of the Tree of Life.” Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your spirit so that you may not only overcome life’s challenges but, above all, attain the eternal promise made by the Lord Jesus.
