This November has been declared the “Month of the Greater Purpose.” A time dedicated to those who truly understand the importance of winning souls for the Kingdom of God.
The greatest purpose in life isn’t just about receiving blessings such as healing, prosperity, or getting married — though these are wonderful promises found in the Word of God. Rather, the greatest purpose is the salvation of souls.
Throughout this month, that’s exactly what we will be focusing on. When you align yourself with God and embrace this greater purpose, you will find that nothing will ever be lacking in your life.
God’s work continues through those who believe and honour Him. When someone recognises the value of their covenant with God and chooses to support His work, they make it possible for the Gospel to reach more people — fulfilling the words of the Lord Jesus Himself in Mark 16:15: “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.”
The Bible also reminds us in Malachi 3:10: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house…”
This verse is often misunderstood. The tithe isn’t some sort of transaction in exchange for financial blessings. It’s far more meaningful than that. It’s an act of faith and recognition. The true purpose of the tithe is to maintain the House of God, ensuring that His Word continues to be preached and that lives continue to be transformed.
How could God withhold His blessings from someone who shares His very purpose — the saving of souls?
When we begin to see things from this perspective, everything changes. Blessings follow naturally. Prosperity becomes a consequence of being faithful, not the goal itself. Our first fruits then become a declaration that everything we have comes from God.
On Sunday, 2nd November, we will hold a special consecration for the “seconds” — our faithful tithers. They are called “seconds” because those who return their tithe are putting God first.
In Psalm 92:10 it says: “But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.”
During this service, we will be anointing the tithers with the consecrated oil. This is a very special oil, chosen with great care. It’s among the most highly regarded oils in Europe. We have chosen the best, because when we dedicate something to God, we give Him nothing less than our very best.
By faith, we believe that you will witness the greatness of God at work in every area of your life including your family, your finances, and your spiritual life. May this fresh anointing strengthen your commitment to support God’s work and to reach out to save souls for His Kingdom.
If you would like to take part in this purpose of faith, you can join us at your local Universal Church. Together, let us live for the Greater Purpose — the salvation of souls.
