The human body is a powerful machine, designed to move, adapt, and grow stronger through use. However, when it remains inactive, it can lose strength and flexibility, compromising its proper functioning. That is why regular exercise is essential—to keep the body healthy, strong, and working as it should.
Similarly, there is a vital form of exercise for those who are part of the Body of Christ: sharing with others what we have received from Him.
When we pass on what God has given us—whether it’s a word of faith, a testimony, guidance, or simple support—we not only help others, but also strengthen our own faith and connection with Him. Just as muscles grow when exercised, our faith grows when put into practice. Serving, giving and reaching out keeps us spiritually active, sensitive to God’s voice and aligned with His purpose.
This is the exercise that strengthens the Body and enables it to grow, mature and develop in a healthy way. An active Body is a living, united and effective Body. Faith was never meant to be static; it is meant to move, reach others and produce fruit. When we put into action what we have received from God, we experience renewal, direction, and a deeper relationship with Him.
If you are already a member of the Body of Christ and wish to serve God with all your strength, or if you desire to become part of His Body, come and learn how to fulfil this mission. Join us on 28 January for the Wednesday of the Body of Christ, featuring a special message from Bishop Macedo.
