The Entry That Changes Everything

Peace
“Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.”
(John 20:19-20)

On the evening of His resurrection, the Lord Jesus appeared to His disciples. They had locked themselves away in distress, afraid of the religious leaders who had plotted His crucifixion. Uncertain of what the future would hold without their Master, they were overcome with fear. Yet, in the middle of their turmoil, Jesus entered and spoke words that changed everything: “Peace be with you.”

His presence lifted their spirits as they were not just words of comfort, but a promise of inner calmness, even in times of distress.

Isn’t that what we often long for today? Life throws so many challenges our way that peace can feel out of reach. Like the disciples, we too can lose perspective and feel shaken by uncertainty.

Perhaps you find yourself struggling with your own well-being, weighed down by worry and restlessness. Just as He did then, the Lord Jesus offers His peace today—an assurance that He is with us.

The same One who turned the disciples’ fear into joy can transform your situation too.

Take this as your invitation to join us for the final day of the Chain of Prayer: The Powerful Entry of Jesus. When He steps into your life, He not only brings peace but also the solution you need to restore your strength and well-being.
