The Answer Could Be Closer Than You Think

Monday of Answers
Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of life. We hope for breakthroughs, blessings, or clarity, yet sometimes the answers seem far off. Especially in the area of finances, many know this tension all too well.

  • Waiting for a job offer or promotion: Interview after interview, the silence that follows can feel unbearable. Each passing day brings questions — “Was I good enough? Did I say the right thing?”
  • Waiting for an application approval: Applications are sent, documents submitted, yet the decision takes weeks. In that gap, stress builds, and it’s easy to wonder: Will it be approved?
  • Waiting for a business to grow: A new venture begins with excitement, but as days or weeks pass without customers or contracts, discouragement sets in when things don’t go to plan.
  • Waiting for investments to bear fruit: Money is tied up in property or savings, and the uncertainty of outcomes can tempt people to act too soon.

In all these scenarios, the feelings are much the same: restlessness, worry, and the temptation to give up. But this verse from Habakkuk reminds us that God’s promises are never delayed, they are simply waiting for their appointed moment.

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

When God told Habakkuk to climb to a high place and write the vision on a tablet, it wasn’t just a practical instruction. It was an act of trust. By doing so, Habakkuk was publicly declaring, “I believe in what God has spoken, even before it comes to pass.” The fact that it was written large enough for someone running by to see it shows just how confident God wanted His people to be in His Word.

Here’s the challenge for us: we often put our faith in so many temporary things. People buy homes that are only half-built, trusting a builder’s promise that the finished product will be delivered. We even sign contracts, invest money, and rearrange our lives based on a promise written on paper. Yet, when it comes to God, we often hesitate to trust.

Join us this Monday for the Prosperity with God meeting for the ‘Monday of Answers. No matter what financial breakthrough, provision, or opportunity you are waiting for, remember this: God’s timing is perfect, His Word is true, and the vision will surely come to pass.

If you choose to trust Him fully, then the answer will come. Not a moment too early, not a second too late, but at the appointed time.
