There are moments in life when people feel overwhelmed, lost or emotionally drained by the challenges they face. In times like these, if someone offered help and a way out, most of us would accept it without hesitation. Imagine struggling in deep water, and someone reaches out to rescue you, would you turn them away? Probably not. Deep down, everyone longs for hope, support and a fresh start when things become difficult.
This sense of relief and rescue is something many of us can relate to, even in simple moments like watching a superhero film. When someone is saved just in time, there is an immediate feeling of relief and joy.
On 31st May, the “Sunday of Rescue” will be a special occasion and an invitation for anyone longing for a spiritual fresh start. Many people carry hidden pain, emptiness or the sense that they have drifted far from God. Yet, no matter how distant someone may feel, there is a path back to Him.
Often, when people try to face life without God, it’s common to search for fulfilment in things that never truly satisfy the heart. Real peace comes from reconnecting with God and sincerely returning to His presence.
This meeting will take place in all Universal Churches across the UK to welcome anyone who wants a new beginning and the chance to restore their spiritual life. Join us at the Rainbow Theatre, 232 Seven Sisters Road, London, N4 3NX or your local Universal Church.
The doors will be open to everyone, regardless of their past or the reasons they may have stepped away from their faith. There is still time to change direction, strengthen your relationship with God and experience the peace that only He can give.
