We all go about our daily routines, moving from place to place without giving it much thought. Yet some environments carry a deeper, unseen influence that can affect us in negative ways we may not immediately recognise.
Many people have experienced moments where, after being in certain places, life seems to take an unexpected shift. Instead, they work quietly, and gradually until they become difficult to ignore. It can feel confusing, especially when there’s no clear cause. That is the purpose behind “The Point of Light”, which will be taking place this Friday, 10 April in all Universal Churches across the UK. It offers a chance for spiritual cleansing, renewal, protection, and a fresh start for anyone who may need a change.
In Psalm 119:105, it says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” In other words, God’s Word brings clarity where there is confusion, direction where there is uncertainty, and light where there may have been darkness. Just as a lamp helps you see where you’re going, God’s guidance helps you avoid what could harm you and leads you towards a better path.
This is what “The Point of Light” represents—a moment of contact with that Divine Guidance. It’s about allowing God’s light to reveal what may be hidden, remove what does not belong, and lead you into a new beginning.
