Socially Alone

Socially alone
New data drawn from a YouGov’s report indicates that over a third (36%) of daily social media users say they often feel very alone.

Those frequently using social media will regularly see their friends and peers enjoying what is portrayed as fun, picturesque and perfect lives, and this can have a knock-on effect – provoking feelings of loneliness.

Glazing at someone else’s life on social media may not help you take away the internal loneliness that you feel, but too often can add to it.

If you can relate to this and want someone to talk to, why not give us a call on our 24hour helpline, someone will be available to speak to you: 020 7686 6000
