The Victory Youth Group (VYG), the UK’s most active youth organisation for 14–25-year-olds, helped bring more than 1,300 young people together across the UK for an unforgettable evening centred on the powerful theme: “No Greater Love.”
The annual event was a night of inspiring performances, real-life testimonies and a transformative message about the true meaning of love.
A Night of Talent, Creativity and Impact
Members of the Victory Youth Group took centre stage, showcasing their creativity and abilities through original performances that were both moving and thought-provoking. The evening featured songs written and performed by the young people themselves, a powerful dance piece, and a compelling drama exploring the theme of “No Greater Love.”
A real-life testimony was also shared by a young person who has overcome significant adversity and is now an example and role model to others.
The final drama particularly resonated with attendees. One young person said:
“V-Day was amazing. The performances were brilliant and you could really see the effort that went into them, especially the opening song. The last skit really made me think – it reminded me that Jesus isn’t focused on our past, but on making us completely new.”
Another attendee reflected on the message shared during the evening:
“This V-Day was unforgettable. Every performance connected so strongly to the theme. It reminded me that choosing to love God is a decision, and that His love is real, powerful and unconditional – no matter what we’ve been through or how long we’ve carried our baggage.”
A Message Beyond Entertainment
The central message of the evening contrasted society’s often distorted version of love with the true, unconditional love offered by God. Young people were encouraged to understand that true love is not based on performance, popularity or past mistakes, but is unconditional, powerful and available to all.
Many attendees were experiencing VYG for the first time and were deeply impacted by what they saw and heard. The event delivered far more than entertainment; it helped young people recognise their value and understand that real love is within their reach.
An Outstanding Success
V-Day 2026 was widely praised for its simplicity, clarity of message and highly engaging content. From the excellence of the youth-led performances to the empowering message shared, attendees left feeling uplifted and inspired.
Bishop Allan Passos, who addressed the audience, said:
“No Greater Love is not just a theme – it is a reality. Every young person who attended needed to understand that their past does not cancel their future. True love exists, it transforms, and it gives every individual the opportunity to begin again.”
Organisers hope that those who attended will carry this understanding with them, remembering that true and lasting love is available to them regardless of their past experiences. It is their belief that many left with a renewed sense of value and direction that will guide important decisions in the future.
The Victory Youth Group continues its work throughout the year, supporting young people to overcome challenges, build character and discover purpose.
