The Bible states:
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36-37)
This Bible verse states that there is nothing of greater value than our soul, since this is the very thing that we will take with us after death.
However, knowing the value of something doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be prioritised unless you make a conscious decision to value it.
This is why this Wednesday, at our local Universal Church we will be investing in the most important asset – our soul. It’s worth knowing its value but taking care of it is even more important.
The Lord Jesus knew just how important it was when He choose to give His life for it. This Wednesday we invite you to take care of your soul as we participate in the Lord’s Supper.
What is your soul worth?
