Challenge: Make extra money in an interesting way.
Explanation: An IntelliMan is resourceful, inventive, and capable. He always finds a creative way to solve problems. That’s why you’ll never find a poor IntelliMan, or at least one who remains poor for long. He might even lose everything, but his enterprising spirit will always drive him build everything back up again.
Every IntelliMan should know how to make money in an intelligent way. He may have a job, but he knows he can’t depend on that job forever. What if the economy changes or his company decides to reduce its workforce? The only think he will be able to rely on is his enterprising spirit.
Your challenge this week is to make extra money in a creative way. It doesn’t matter if you need extra money or not, you may make enough already, or you may not have a reason to earn extra money because you don’t work for profit (you may be a Pastor). The purpose of this challenge is to develop your skill of making extra money and to stimulate your creativity. What would you do with an extra 100, 200, or 1,000 dollars (pounds/euros/rand)?
What you do with the extra money is up to you. Your challenge is to make extra money in a creative manner. You might want to: sell some things that you don’t use anymore, offer your services and skills to someone who needs them, buy something at a low price and sell it for a profit, start a small online business, use your skills to fix something that’s broken or undone (broken computer, cut your neighbors grass, etc.). As long as it’s legal, anything’s up for grabs. Be creative, think of things that won’t take too long but will give you a fast return. You have one to two weeks to complete this challenge.
When you make the money, don’t forget to apply what you learned in Challenge #14.
Notebook: Make a list of money-making ideas. Write down everything that comes to mind, whether you’re going to do it or not. The longer your list the better. Write down what you’re good at too. For example: “I know how to cut hair, make flyers, I’m good at math…” Then try to combine some of your skills with an idea, and get to work!
Official Partner: Exchange ideas, talk about your abilities, what you’re going to do and/or what you did to complete this challenge. Motivate each other.
Deadline: You may begin working on this challenge immediately. Start Challenge #35 in one week. (You have two weeks to complete this challenge. Next week’s challenge will not be as intense.)
Post: After – and only after – you have completed the challenge, post your comments on the IntelliMenWorld Facebook or Twitter page, (not on your own page) and write the following:
