Can you believe there are only three months left until the end of the year? For many, it seems like the year has flown by, leaving behind a trail of unfinished plans, unfulfilled goals, and dreams that once seemed within reach but never came to fruition. It’s easy to look back and think that the opportunities are lost, or that it’s simply too late to make changes.
But the truth is, three months is still a significant amount of time. In that period, you can change habits, mend relationships, start something new, or even witness breakthroughs you never thought possible. Just because most of the year has passed doesn’t mean the rest of it has to be wasted. What may feel like “the end” could very well be the beginning of something extraordinary, if you choose to believe and take a step of faith.
Over 3,000 years ago, a man called Obed-Edom and his family experienced this kind of turnaround. When the Ark of the Covenant – the sacred symbol of God’s presence – was brought into his home and remained there for three months, everything in his life was transformed (see 2 Samuel 6). His household was blessed, his family prospered, and his story became a testimony of what happens when God’s presence dwells among us. What could have been just ordinary months became a season of divine blessings and restoration.
The best part is that the same power that changed Obed-Edom’s family back then is still available today. The God who blessed his household is the same God who works in the lives of those who believe in Him now. Through faith in action, His presence can bring direction, protection and renewal in your life and in your family.
